As someone who has battled trichotillomania for 30 years, it’s always disheartening to lose hair that I haven’t pulled out myself (though I feel for those hairs too). Recently, I started using a new shampoo, and my hair-pulling worsened. Additionally, I was losing a significant amount of hair with every shower. Was it due to Covid? The shampoo? Stress? It turned out I was allergic to the shampoo.
