SkinMedica HA5 Hydra Collagen Hydrating Foaming Cleanser

I have such dry skin that most cleansers make my face feel like it is going to crack the second I pat it dry but this one is actually soft. It turns into this really nice lather that doesn't feel stripping at all.

Honestly I bought this because my dermatologist recommended the HA5 line and I am glad I did. It gets all my makeup off in one go without me having to scrub my eyes until they are red.

The texture is what got me. I love foamy cleansers. My face just feels clean and bouncy after I use it which is a weird thing to say about a face wash.

I am usually pretty picky about smells and this one is very light and clean. It feels like a high end product and a little bit goes a long way so the bottle is lasting me forever.

I use this every morning in the shower and it just wakes my skin up. I noticed my moisturizer actually sinks in better when I start with this instead of my old drugstore wash.

Is it pricey for a cleanser? Yeah probably. But my skin has been so much clearer since I switched over that I really do not want to go back to the basic stuff.

I have combination skin where my forehead is oily but my cheeks are flaky and this somehow handles both. It cleans the oil off without making the dry spots worse which is a hard balance to find.

The pump is actually really good and does not get stuck or shoot the soap across the room. I appreciate that because for this price I want to use every single drop.

It does not sting my eyes at all which is a huge deal for me. I can just massage it all over my face and rinse it off and everything is gone without any irritation.

I have been using the whole HA5 system for a month now and this cleanser is the perfect start. My skin looks way more hydrated and I am not getting those weird dry patches around my nose anymore.

I was worried it would leave a film on my skin because it says hydrating but it rinses off totally clean. No residue or weird waxy feeling left behind at all.

My husband even started using it because he likes how it feels after he shaves. It is definitely worth the money if you want your skin to actually feel healthy and not just clean.
