Clinique Lash Power Mascara Long-Wearing Formula

I have watery eyes, so finding mascara that doesn’t turn into a mess is difficult. This has held up much better than most formulas I’ve tried.

I have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes during the day, and I’m impressed by how well this stays in place. I don’t end up with mascara all over my under-eyes.

My biggest issue with mascara is smudging by lunchtime. I wore this through an entire workday and still looked put together when I got home.

This gives me more of a clean, defined lash than an overly dramatic one. That’s exactly what I want for work and everyday makeup.

The brush gets right into my smaller lashes without depositing a huge amount of product. I can actually reach the corners without making a mess.

I wore this to an outdoor wedding in humid weather and expected the worst. Somehow my lashes still looked good hours later.

Taking this off is surprisingly easy. Warm water does most of the work, and I don’t have to scrub at my lashes.

No more little black marks underneath my eyes at the end of the day. That alone makes this worth keeping in my makeup bag.

My lashes are fairly short, and this does a nice job making them look longer without adding a bunch of bulk.

At first I thought something was wrong when the mascara came off in little pieces with warm water. Now I actually prefer removing it this way.

I work long shifts and don’t have time to check my makeup throughout the day. This is one mascara I can put on in the morning and basically forget about.

Most mascaras transfer onto my upper eyelid because of my eye shape. I’ve had far less of that happening with this formula.

I put this on before a busy day of running errands in the heat, and when I checked the mirror later, it hadn’t migrated around my eyes.

The smaller brush is a huge plus for me. I have much better control near the lash line and don’t accidentally get mascara all over my eyelid.

I almost gave up on wearing mascara daily because everything seemed to smudge on me. This has made it possible to wear mascara all day without constantly checking a mirror.

What makes this different for me is the combination of wear and removal. It stays put when I need it to, but at night I can remove it with warm water instead of rubbing my eyes with makeup remover.
