Perfect for teenagers!
My daughter who is an athlete used to have multiple breakouts before she started using this product. Her esthetician suggested a product with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide (BPO) so we found this amazing product online. It has worked wonders for her. My daughter is thrilled with this facial wash because it doesn't cause any redness and she absolutely loves it. Ever since she started using it her acne has significantly improved. We have tried numerous products before but this Jan Marini product is the one we will continue to purchase indefinitely.

Unexpectedly Mild!
I have extremely sensitive skin and most benzoyl peroxide products usually cause redness. However this face wash is different. It leaves my skin feeling soft refreshed and never causes excessive dryness or redness (in fact it even improves my skin tone). It definitely surpassed my expectations which is quite uncommon for skincare products! The only downside is that it doesn't really create a lather. I can understand why some people might be particular about that.

It appears to be a great product. I bought it as a replacement for a cleanser from the Glo Theraputics line that I've been using for a long time but unfortunately it's no longer available. I needed a daily wash with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide to help with my hormonal acne. So far it's been effective and doesn't dry out my skin. The price is similar to the previous line and I use it twice daily.

I have been using this gentle acne cleanser for more than a year now. In the past I used to avoid benzoyl peroxide products due to their drying effects but this one is different. It effectively keeps my skin under control without causing excessive dryness. I have noticed that higher quality products contain finer benzoyl peroxide which is more effective even at lower concentrations preventing skin dryness with regular use. However it's important to note that this cleanser doesn't lather much so don't expect a lot of foam. Personally I enjoy using it with my Clarisonic.

Excellent equilibrium
As an individual I constantly require the use of BP to prevent breakouts. This particular product is ideal for cleansing my face pre or post workout. The BP component is potent enough to effectively cleanse yet it also provides ample hydration. Additionally it has a long-lasting effect.

I incorporate this into my nightly skincare routine (and exfoliate with it once a week). It effectively combats acne. Sometimes it may cause dryness but I simply follow up with a slightly richer moisturizer to alleviate it.

Wow! I'm a 13-year-old girl and I occasionally get breakouts. I used to use Cetaphil but it didn't work for me. Luckily my mom bought this product for my brother but since he wasn't using it he let me give it a try. I've been using it for just over a week and I can already see a noticeable improvement in my skin! The product is excellent. It doesn't produce lather but it feels light on the skin and is effective.

I decided to try this cleanser after my dermatologist recommended one with BP. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and so far it's been great! I have acne-prone and sensitive skin but this cleanser hasn't caused any issues. After using it my face feels clean but not dry. I'm not sure if it's solely because of the cleanser but my acne seems to be improving and the bumps I had before haven't fully developed. I usually prefer cleansers with pumps but this one is not bad. The bottle dispenses a small amount of product depending on the pressure so there's no wastage. I will probably buy this again especially if there's another sale.

This cleanser is amazing! It effectively cleanses my skin without causing any dryness even when I use it twice a day. Jan Marini Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% Facial Wash is generally effective but it lacks the ability to effectively remove makeup.
