To apply Jan Marini Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment Lotion 5%, start with clean, dry skin. Dispense a small amount of the lotion onto your fingertips and gently apply it to the affected areas, avoiding the eye area and any open wounds. Allow the lotion to absorb fully into the skin before applying any other skincare products. Use it once daily initially, and gradually increase to twice daily as tolerated. If dryness or irritation occurs, reduce the frequency of use. Always follow up with a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day, as benzoyl peroxide can increase sensitivity to sunlight.

Although it effectively treats acne and pimples it can be slightly drying. Due to my combination sensitive acne-prone skin I limit my usage to once a week. When I attempted to use it twice a week I experienced flakiness and papules. While it may not provide complete acne prevention it has successfully treated the majority of my acne.

Ideal for teenagers this product is a perfect fit for my 13-year-old daughter. It effectively caters to her sensitive skin without causing any dryness or irritation.

Love is a great spot treatment that is formulated to speed up the process of blemish disappearance.

I have finally managed to control my adult hormonal acne. This product is amazing and I absolutely love it. I apply it all over my T-zone like a moisturizer but I use it underneath my daytime moisturizer or night cream by layering them. Currently I am using it in combination with a BPO facewash and I haven't experienced any major breakouts since. Additionally I have started using it on my back to treat some breakouts there and I believe it is effective.

I have been using Jan Marini products for more than ten years to treat my cystic acne. In the morning I cleanse my face with the Bioglycolic Face Cleanser and then apply a mixture of the Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment Lotion and the Transformation Face Cream. I finish off with the Antioxidant Daily Face Protectant. This skincare routine is the only thing that effectively prevents my cystic acne. Thanks to Jan Marini I no longer need to use foundation or powder and I am grateful that it has prevented any scarring or dark spots on my skin even at the age of 50.
