I have been using Obagi products for a long time and they have been very effective in maintaining the youthfulness of my skin. A few years ago, I tried one of their salicylic acid products and it lasted a long time. However, since the Covid pandemic, I have been dealing with maskne and needed to step up my chemical exfoliation routine to control breakouts. The 1% product I was using wasn't doing enough, so I decided to try the Obagi 2% solution and it has been amazing! The pump dispenser bottle is very convenient, allowing me to use as much or as little as I need with a clean cotton round. Initially, I experienced a slight purge in the first few days, but now my skin is much smoother and cleaner. It is important to remember to moisturize and wear sunscreen regularly when using any active product. The scent of the solution is somewhat apple-like and not overly chemical. It has a refreshing, tingling sensation but doesn't excessively dry out my skin. I really love this product and will continue using it as long as I continue to have acne in my 30s! Haha.
