COOLA Mineral Body SPF50 - Fragrance-Free

I absolutely adore using this product on a daily basis. One of the things I love most about it is that it is fragrance-free and has a creamy texture. Although I have a very fair complexion and it does leave a slight white cast, I actually don't mind it because it gives my skin a more creamy appearance. Additionally, I have noticed an improvement in my skin texture since incorporating it into my daily routine, and I haven't experienced any allergies from using it. I highly recommend this product, especially if you have fairer skin, as it may leave a cast on other skin tones.

I purchased this product because I was going to be spending a month in Tanzania at high altitude, outside every day. I needed a mineral-based sunscreen that was truly water resistant and wouldn't feel gross on my skin, especially since I would be in a remote area with limited access to running water. I had previously tried the Coola face sunscreen and was impressed with its non-greasy feel, so I decided to try their higher SPF sunscreen for my body. As a whitewater kayaker, I have used many mineral sunscreens and found this one to be the most comfortable and effective. It protected me from getting sunburned, except for one day when I forgot to apply it and ended up with a second-degree burn. Overall, I am satisfied with the protection this product provided during my trip.

I am extremely satisfied with this amazing product that not only promotes personal health but also benefits the environment. Recently, I returned from my trip to the Caribbean and I am grateful that I had this product with me. Additionally, the facial version of this product is equally impressive. It is important to note that due to its mineral composition, a slight white film may appear. However, I can confidently say that I never experienced any sunburn while using it.

I'm really impressed with this zinc sunblock. It rubs in well and doesn't feel like it's clogging my pores. Although it's still a bit white upon application, I think it's a good thing because it helps me identify any missed spots. Additionally, it's not nano zinc, making it safe for the reef.

This sunscreen is cruelty free, mineral based, and perfect for extremely sensitive skin. I initially didn't like the SPF 30 version, but after giving it another chance and allowing my skin to adjust, I became obsessed with it. It has a lotion-like texture and a mild scent, despite being labeled as fragrance free. I was thrilled to see it available in SPF 50, which has a less noticeable scent and a thicker consistency with a slight white cast, likely due to the higher SPF. It has a matte finish that doesn't dry out the skin, leaving it feeling soft. It also pairs well with foundation, providing a smooth base. While it is more expensive at $36, I have found it to be the best sunscreen for my sensitive, dry, eczema and acne prone skin. It took a few days for my skin to adjust to it, but it has been worth it. I have repurchased it and will continue to do so, as it is one of the few mineral sunscreens that is cruelty free, has a matte finish, is fragrance free, and doesn't irritate my skin.
